After trying out a couple of different physios, in April, I finally went to AST and had a consult with Dr. Dave Westmacott. It was evident from the start that he was experienced with groin injuries as well as having an excellent understanding of bio-mechanics and treatment methods. My treatment showed positive results almost instantly. After each weekly visit, my pain further subsided. In July, I even stepped on to a soccer field again and played the full 90 minutes. After that, treatment frequency dropped to monthly and as of November, I am completely pain free in all activities. Being able to again participate in all sports is life changing. I would highly recommend AST as they are knowledge and use proven treatment methods. - Martin T.
“The ongoing treatment that I receive from Dr. Dave Westmacott and his staff at Active Sports Therapy have made such a difference in my training. I am an avid endurance athlete who participates in 24 Hour Solo Mountain Biking events. I started using AST’s services in the beginning of 2011 when I was preparing for a race and was experiencing quite a bit of discomfort on my bike due to a combination of training over 20 hours a week and from the demands of my day job. After treatments from Dr. Dave as well as Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, I am able to train harder and smarter and cannot say enough about them. With confidence I can say that my execution and form on my bike has improved dramatically. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to anyone looking to improve their fitness level, or to simply better their health.” - Dave Franks, 24 Hour Solo Mountain Biking Athlete
