Kegel Muscle Contractions per session.
Emsella uses high intensity focused electromagnetic technology (HIFEMTM) to deeply stimulate the pelvic floor muscles to restore neuromuscular control. The treatment stimulates thousands of pelvic muscle contractions called supramaximal contractions to tighten the entire pelvic floor.

Each session stimulates 11,800 contractions, which is similar to doing 11,800 Kegel exercises!

EMSELLA is a breakthrough treatment. It’s non-invasive and improves bladder control by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles.

More about Emsella:

How many sessions are required?

Each patient should receive a personalized consultation prior to beginning their Emsella treatment plan. 6 treatments scheduled twice per week are recommended.

How much is the treatment?

Pricing depends on individual needs and various treatment packages.  Contact AST for a free consultation on what package is right for you. Special patient financing is available.

Is the treatment painful?

The Emsella treatment is not painful. Patients may experience tingling and pulling sensations as the pelvic floor muscles contract, which is similar to an intense pelvic workout.

How long do results last?

Results can vary depending on the individual. How long the results last will depend on the patient’s lifestyle and health condition. On average, patients find that their results will last 6 months to years after their Emsella series. Patients can come in for maintenance
sessions to prolong their results.

What are the benefits of doing an Emsella treatment?

Emsella treatments can help patients restore control of the bladder, treat urinary incontinence, and help strengthen pelvic floor muscles to improve their quality of life.  The Emsella treatment is a 28 minute, non-invasive procedure where patients remain fully clothed throughout. There is no downtime so patients can return to their regular activities immediately after treatment.

Who is an Emsella candidate?

The Emsella patient may be men or women struggling with stress or urge urinary incontinence. Patients may experience urine leakage when laughing, coughing or sneezing. They may also feel a sudden, intense urge to pee. The Emsella patient may seek to strengthen their pelvic floor, manage nocturia and improve sexual function.
Emsella is also suitable for post-prostatectomy patients.

  • I love this place! It doesn't matter what I come in with, they are able to help me and my entire family. I have 2 children, ages 5 and 7, and Dr. Jennifer Teasdale is absolutely a delight to deal with, and both my kids are excited to see her. There hasn't been a problem they haven't been able to help with. Highly recommend this place!

  • I have been seeing Dr, Finan for Chiropractic Treatment and Michelle for Physiotherapy for over 10 years with AST. They are always kind and informative, they really care about your health and well-being and they do whatever it takes to get you there. Both are so patient and they never address your symptoms without some education to go along with why you might feel the way to do and what you can do to help the process.
